What Is Individual Therapy:

Individual therapy offers a space of deep, attuned attention where your inner world can be explored with curiosity and care. We will explore the experiences, patterns, and inner dynamics that have shaped you, gently unravel what no longer serves you, and support you in building a more grounded, steady sense of self.

Why People Seek Individual Therapy:

People come to individual therapy for many reasons, sometimes in moments of crisis and other times because something within them is asking for deeper understanding. You may be:

  • Feeling stuck in patterns you can’t shift

  • Struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or an inner critical voice

  • Wanting to understand why certain emotions or reactions feel so strong

  • Navigating identity, cultural, or belonging-related questions

  • Moving through a life transition, like the end of a relationship, a shift in career, or the transition to parenthood

How I Work:

My work is rooted in a desire to get to know you as a unique person and to explore what a meaningful life could look like for you, as well as what may be getting in the way of it. I tailor my approach by drawing from different therapeutic approaches that I believe will best support your growth.

While I primarily work through a psychoanalytic framework (which means we pay close attention to your inner world, emotional patterns, and the deeper meanings behind your experiences), I also integrate other approaches depending on your needs.

This may include Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, EMDR to help process and integrate distressing memories and body-based responses, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to support relational healing and emotional clarity.

Session Information:

Sessions are 45–50 minutes and generally take place once a week. Depending on the kind of work we’re doing, I may recommend meeting more frequently.
