My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is grounded in a psychoanalytic framework that centers your experience and invites a deeper exploration of your inner world. Together, we bring awareness to patterns, defenses, and emotional wounds that may have developed as ways of coping with the past. As these dynamics surface in therapy, you begin to see how they shape your thoughts, emotions, and relationships in the present. This awareness opens space for new ways of relating—to yourself and to others—with greater freedom, compassion, and authenticity.
Alongside this, I integrate principles from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other therapeutic modalities to tailor the work to your specific needs. This integrative approach allows us to address both insight and change—to understand why patterns exist while also developing tools to shift them.
